StarSol Start Watching
FAQ

Questions before you bring the sky inside.

StarSol is for people who love space images, want to understand the night sky, or simply want their TV to feel quieter and more beautiful.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The TV app opens with a two-day free window so you can try the gallery, ambient mode, and sky guide before creating an account.

What can I watch?

StarSol uses public astronomy imagery and video from sources such as NASA, ESA/Webb, STScI, and related mission archives, with credit shown in the app.

Can it teach constellations?

That is one of the main goals. StarSol starts with recognizable patterns like Orion, Cassiopeia, Cygnus, and Taurus, then connects them to what is visible tonight.

What is in Explorer?

Explorer is the core paid plan: curated image and video access, ambient mode, starter constellation learning, ISS live-position tracking, and the main astronomy TV experience.

What is in Observer?

Observer is planned for enthusiasts who want more timing and location context: ISS pass predictions, aurora forecast alerts, and expanded lessons. It should not be sold until those features are live.

Does StarSol show ads?

No. StarSol is designed as a calm, paid, ad-free astronomy product. No autoplay ad breaks, no noisy home screen clutter.

Media note: StarSol should only ship videos and images with clear public-domain or permissive-use terms, plus visible credit lines. Anything uncertain stays out of the launch build.
